Some fantastic news and HUGE thanks
Well everyone, it's been all go behind the scenes and we have some amazing news for you.....
The Eilidh Brown Memorial Fund has been overwhelmed by the generosity of people and we are delighted to announce that we now have land to build on, plans to work from and a team of electricians to help us.
This massive step forward has been made possible by the following people:
Vicky & William Ferguson and their family for the kind donation of the land in Thornhill. The land is a corner of a field with stunning views all round.
Bobby Halliday and family for drawing up the plans for the cottage. We can't wait to see them and we know they will design an amazing home.
We would like to thank the Fergusons, Hallidays & Brewsters from the bottom of our hearts. Their donations are above and beyond anything we expected and this now means that we are even closer to making Eilidh's dream come true.
Nicole, Gordon, Hannah & Lewis. x

As some of you may have seen, we made front page news of The Stirling Observer today! Unfortunately, there is not a link to the story online (that we can find!) but the article focused on the fact we have raised £100,000 already. Also mentioned was our need for local businesses & trades people to pledge their support to help us with the build. With a potential site, and drawings kindly being drawn up for us, we are already well on our way to making Eilidh's dream become a reality but this is where we need to ask for more than monetary support.
If you are a local or national business who would be willing to pledge their help, be it with time, supplies, equipment or manpower, we want to hear from you. The groundwork is the first huge job which carries with it a huge expense so to get some people on board who could lighten the load of this stage would be amazing.
Please be in touch with us for more information as we would be happy to meet to discuss the build in more detail.
Your continued support, as always, is hugely appreciated.
Please keep a look out for more news over the coming weeks.
Thanks x

With Gordon on his way to Thailand to film his Hollywood Blockbuster and a couple of articles already printed in the local and national press, it's been quite a week so far for the Brown family.
But, we promised two BIG announcements this week and here's the first:
The Eilidh Brown Memorial Fund has raised £100,000
We would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every person that contributed and helped achieve this amazing amount. The support, love and dedication that has gone into the fundraising efforts has been overwhelming and we appreciate every single penny.
But this is just the beginning.....
We need your support, now more than ever, as we look to the future, the start of the build and look to make Eilidh's dream of the Respite Cottage become a reality.
Next stop? £200,000. Let's make it happen.
Please be in touch if you are planning any fundraising activities or you require further information: info@eilidhbrown.co.uk
Once again, thank you for making this possible, and keep an eye here for another announcement on Friday! x
